Sew a cozy pajamas.

I have found a piece of thin fabric, with a cool checkered pattern on.
So now I want to sew a cozy pajamas.

Start by sewing a pair of Pyjama Pants like this

Now we are going to sew a shirt blouse:

Cut out all parts of the shirt - find the pattern at the bottom of this page.

Sew the collar on the bad side, do not sew the bottom edge, now turn it inside out.
It will look really nice with a small decorative stitching on the good side.
(this is not necessary, but it does make the pajama shirt look nicer)

Sew the shoulder seams together on the bad side.

Fold the two sides of the front pieces, and put the collar between the two layers of fabric.
Now sew the collar, again from the bad side.
And sew a small decorative seam down the side of the two front pieces.

Now sew the sleeves on, from the bad side.

Measure the sleeve on your doll, it may go a little out over the hand (except if it is for an ordinary shirt)
I have chosen to sew this on the good side, since it is a shirt,
This make it look like there's a small cuff on the sleeve.

Now turn the shirt inside-out and sew the sleeve, and all the way down on the side of the shirt. Do this on both sides.

Now bend up the bottom of the shirt, this is done on the bad side, and sew it.

Sew 3 snaps on to the front pieces of the shirt, so it can be closed.
I have chosen to make a few decorative buttons of Cernit(polymer clay)

See here, how I made the buttons.

The result

NOTE: It is fine to sew a cute shirt blouse this way,
it do not have to be a pajama shirt.
