Sew a girly dress for Tangkou/Obitsu.

I have found a sweet and very thin piece of fabric, and I decided to sew a dress from it.
First I made the pattern that you find at the bottom of this page.
Start by printing it out, in the fitting scale.

Cut two pieces of the top, and sew them together on the bad side, as showen on the picture below:

Now, gently flip the good side out.
Sew shoulder seam and side seam together.

Cut the dress the part out, this is done by taking a piece of fabric, fold it in half
then fold it in half again, and folded once more.
Now place the pattern on the fabric and cut.

Here you can see how I did.

This provides a circular shaped piece of fabric with a hole in the center.
Cut in a straight line, from the edge and into the center hole.

Spread the top part of the skirt along the support piece, pretty side against pretty side,
Sew the two parts together from the bad side.

Sew a small snap on to the neck on the back side of the support piece.

Now sew a fine edge around the bottom of the skirt.
place the two skirt pieces together (where you cut open) and sew them together.
See the picture below:

You are now done with your girl dress, I just sewed a small bow on - in the middle of the front
to give the dress a little bit more girl-like appearance.

But the dress is also really cute without the bow.
